IN-THE-ROUND SLEEVES & COLOUR MANAGEMENT
Brand Flex take single unit digital artwork supplied by Hallmark and retouch to match the clients colour standards ensuring that the printed gift wrapping paper matches other elements within their range.
We output digital profiles for the printers press enabling us to predict how the final print will look. We manufacture In-The-Round (ITR) photopolymer sleeves to deliver perfect registeration in wide format, allowing for increased press speeds and colour consistency from start to finish reducing set up and running costs.

COLOUR MANAGEMENT & HD PLATES
Brand Flex optimise colour across all print processes, ensuring consistency between Alpen’s flexible packaging and litho cartons.
We use HD Flexo so printers can achieve gravure like quality and accuracy at speed.
We output GMG proofs for colour approval and manage press passes for our customer.
WESTLAND
COLOUR MANAGEMENT & FLEXO FINGERPRINTING
Helping Westland achieve print consistency for their customers. Working through technical challenges, advising on colour standards, plate materials and ink, we source polymer plate material best suited for the substrates.
We spend time with the printers on site to fingerprint presses and constantly review printed material. We provide online approval for artwork, check separations, print furniture, stepped files and numbers of colours.

We are the market leaders in the production of Flexographic plates and sleeves, utilising our Fusion system.
We work with Wipak, their clients, including Arla and leading design agencies to ensure brand assets are produced and printed consistently.

This is a six colour job printed on a four colour press!
Artwork was built using a mixture of CMYK and spot colours which double passed through the press.
We reduced registration issues, retouched the designs and reduced the skin tone to three colours by removing cyan to ensure a clean printed result. Screened proofs were produced to match to for colour.

For Nivea’s 25 product range, we built artwork from the customer guidelines whilst maintaining all press specifications.
We pride ourselves on extremely efficient artwork build with amendments and Flexo plate production within a 24 hour lead time.

Understanding Nuttalls’ press tolerances and substrate behaviour, we retouched the Rosemary & Co images to both improve contrast and achieve the best possible result for the tonal range of the press.
To avoid the image looking flat we worked in partnership with our printer to better understand their presses, standards and print capabilities to provide outstanding print results.

By understanding the constraints of corrugated printing, we are always looking at how our flexographic screening expertise can be used for premium corrugated. For Diamond and their client Nando’s, the brief was to achieve a dense solid background eliminating the ‘flute shadows’.
Using advanced cell patterns within solid colours and by building flexographic technology into the corrugated files, we were able to achieve a high-quality solid colour for excellent ink coverage.
